Presales Consultant

Piql AS, known for its innovation, is the global head-office of a partner network offering digital preservation and long-term data storage services around the world, including storage in the famous Arctic World Archive. These services are enabled by our unique and award-winning technology, developed in Drammen in cooperation with international research institutions and R&D driven companies. We have converted photosensitive film into a digital storage medium, used to secure future access to the world’s most valuable digital data. Likewise, we have integrated our film storage solution with online storage services.

Recently, we have created a digital preservation software and a cloud-based solution to serve our customers with offline and online long-term storage needs. Our vision is to give eternal life to information through innovation, and we move forward by being creative challengers, hands-on experts, and attentive service providers. Piql runs several public-funded international research projects, works closely with global suppliers and clients and is now looking looking for an innovative Presales Consultant to help us lay the important groundwork for sales to succeed.

Your tasks and responsibilities will be to:

  • Find, identify and qualify prospects and develop opportunities
  • Maintain and manage the sale process of the potential clients and partners
  • Have full responsibility for the CRM system
  • Book and conduct meetings with potential clients and pitch Piql services and products
  • Develop content for the Piql Academy (our online learning portal)
  • Conduct demonstrations/presentations for clients and partners

The person we are looking for has these desired qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management or Marketing
  • Technical background and knowledge
  • The ideal candidate has +3 years of presales/sales engineer/consultancy experience within the IT (Software) industry, preferably within IT infrastructure
  • Fluent in Norwegian and English (written and spoken)

  • The ability to understand and uncover needs from potential clients
  • The ability to spot opportunities
